  • Notes Urushibara travelled to London to give demonstrations of the ‘mokuhanga’ woodblock printing technique for the British-Japanese exhibition in 1910. He remained in Europe until WWII, teaching the woodblock printing process to other artists and creating his own prints. Urushibara was an ‘integral part of the European color print movement’.
