- Notes Dedicated to beloved faculty colleague, Pam Corpron Paker, who passed away in the summer of 2016. Pam provided much of the design ideas for the garden. She also contributed time, energy, and funding to the pergola design. The planting design and installation of the garden was a gift of Pam's family, under the direction of her garden-designer sister, Catie Corpron Smith, of Woodinville, WA. Further funding of the pergola provided by English faculty and alumni.
