• Notes A WWII veteran, Dr. Robert Mulder became a well-known speech pathologist. He became a professional artist in 1972, selling artworks in the Portland Saturday Market. Mulder was one of 50 American artists and art educators chosen to travel to China and Hong Kong to participate in a dialogue sponsored by the Kennedy Center and Ministry of Culture and by the Government of Hong Kong in 1988.
