- Notes Medium updated on 8/24/20 after receiving a Spokane Daily Chronicle newspaper article from Dec. 20, 1968 confirming that the drawings from this trip were made with black lithographer's crayon. He created over 800 sketches over a 9-month period as he drove through Europe.
